Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Coverage / Insurance
Comprehensive medical, dental and vision insurance coverage is available to employees and their dependents for a nominal monthly premium and is effective on the first day of the month following employment. Employees may choose from a flexible spending plan or a health savings account depending on the needs of the individual and his family’s needs. LCE also offers basic life insurance, disability insurance and the option of additional contributory life insurance.
Paid Time Off
LCE recognizes and appreciates our employees’ need for work-life balance. To help maintain this balance we offer paid vacation, holidays and sick leave.
LCE has two ways to help save for retirement: a matching 401K plan and a company-funded employee stock ownership program (ESOP).
LCE supports our employees as they advance through their careers with us through our continuing education benefits. These benefits provide reimbursement for training programs, meetings, seminars, and formal degree-granting programs in subjects that are beneficial to the employee and LCE and are approved in advance. LCE also provides reimbursement for basic membership fees in one technical or professional organization of the employee’s choice in order to encourage professional development.
An employee engagement initiative that harnesses the innovation potential of all employees, Innovate LCE! utilizes a cutting-edge, web-based platform to guide, train, support and measure employee innovation or “intrapreneuership.” Great ideas are reviewed and advanced through gates to refine, resource and develop the innovation. Successful ideas can be recognized with monetary rewards up to $20,000.
Our formal bonus structure rewards individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the company, as well as those who achieve professional registration/certification and/or advanced engineering degrees. We also offer an Employee Referral Program to reward employees for referring friends and peers to our current job openings.
