General rules for proper reference to LCE product names
Following are general rules for proper usage of LCE product names.
The first use of each LCE product name mentioned in communications must be identified in a footnote or attribution. The attribution must be located either on the page/screen where the LCE trademark is used, or in the legal section of the communication or site in which it is referenced. Identify Life Cycle Engineering, Inc. as the owner of the trademark, e.g. [Mark] is a trademark of Life Cycle Engineering, Inc. in the U.S. and/or other countries. It is acceptable to omit a symbol in headlines, titles, subheads, diagrams or tops of slides, but the next use must include the appropriate symbol.
Trademark notices can be set in any typeface that is compatible with the surrounding text and in any point size, as long as it is legible. For a registered trademark or service mark, set the trademark (®) notice as a superscript character and put it immediately following the trademark. Do not add a space between the trademark and the notice. For an unregistered trademark or service mark, set the trademark (TM or SM) notice as a superscript character and put it immediately following the trademark. Do not add a space between the trademark and the notice.
