John Sofia to speak at Intelligent Ships Symposium
Life Cycle Engineering’s (LCE) John Sofia, Senior Subject Matter Expert in Commonality and Electric Power Systems, will present “Technologies Impact on Configuration Variance and Affordability” at the upcoming 2017 Intelligent Ships Symposium in Philadelphia, PA. The session will be presented under the In-Service Engineering track and will take place on Thursday, May 25th at 1:35 PM (EST).
In his session, John will address the difficulty in balancing technology and the corresponding cost to implement for the U.S. Navy’s fleet of ships that span the globe. John will also highlight methodologies and provide examples of how to develop and implement advanced capabilities while reflecting the need to drive down cost in systems, sub-systems and components.
