Life Cycle Engineering to Sponsor 2021 Fleet Maintenance & Modernization Symposium
Life Cycle Engineering is proud to be a Bronze Sponsor of the 2021 Fleet Maintenance & Modernization Symposium (FMMS). The annual event, hosted by the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), will be held at the San Diego Convention Center from October 17-19, 2021. The three-day event includes senior military keynotes, industry speakers, informative panels, innovation theater speakers, technical paper presentations, and more.
In addition to sponsorship, LCE will deliver two technical paper sessions. The first, "Using a Mixed Reality Platform to Deliver Training to Frontline Sailors”, will be presented by LCE’s Garry Dixon and Cory Kozlowski. Mixed Reality (MR) can deliver training that is reliable, task oriented, self-directed, and timely – and most importantly, when and where sailors need it most.
The second session, "Augmented and Mixed Reality Preventative Maintenance Library for Accomplishing Routine and Complex PMS", will be presented by LCE's Cory Kozlowski and Larry Tate. A promising solution to the material readiness challenges in the United States Navy's (USN) Fleet of reduced manning, fiscal constraints, and inadequate training, is the creation of a virtual maintenance library that will revolutionize ship, aircraft, and submarine maintenance by matching rapidly advancing equipment with equally advanced PMS instructions.
Life Cycle Engineering is honored to participate in FMMS, an event that brings together the entire naval ship maintenance and modernization community like no other forum. For more information on the FMMS Symposium, please visit the event website.
