Approach
The LCE subject matter expert will teach the organization to deploy the required processes that will result in a Risk Based Asset Management (RBAM®) approach to:
- Classify the assets by a logical hierarchy and in relationship to the value stream
- Analyze the assets by determining their relative criticality and impact to the value stream and identifying the failure modes that will affect the value stream
- Control the assets by developing maintenance strategies that will eliminate, minimize or control those failure modes
- Measure the performance of the value stream and control strategies
Deliverables
- A documented understanding of the value stream and asset hierarchy
- A systematic process for determining the relative criticality of the assets
- An in-depth analysis of the failure modes and mitigation strategies
- Robust production loss tracking and loss elimination processes that will guide the organization to areas of overall improvement
